Thailand celebrates "Dharma Day" in July on the night of the full moon

 

Dharma Day - also known as Asalha Puja Day - is a festival marking the beginning of Buddha's teaching and it celebrates the start of the Buddhist religion.

It takes place every year in July on the full moon of the eight lunar month. In Thailand it is a government holiday.
