Advanced Level Online Teaching on Asia
The member universities of the Finnish University Network for East and Southeast Asian Studies offer some of their own teaching on Asia to all degree students in Finnish universities through the Internet.
The courses are gratis for all students who hold a valid study right in one of the Finnish University Network's member universities.
All Finnish citizens and persons living in Finland with permanent residence permit can enroll in these courses as self-paying independent students. The study fee for each course is 50 euros/credit.
These courses can be used to supplement the student's studies as part of the degree programme provided by the student's own university. The purpose of these courses is to provide a wider selection of various Asia-related topics than what would have been offered alone by a single university.
The MA-level courses are aimed for students who already have aquired some knowledge about Asia or on the specialty of the particular course.
Note: The MA-level courses offered by Finnish University Network do not constitute a study programme in itself as an entity.
It is not possible to receive a grade point average by only completing the Advanced level courses offered by the Finnish University Network of East and Southeast Asian Studies.
Note also that it is not possible to use MA-level courses as a part of the Asian programme.
