Advanced Level Online Teaching on Asia


India, Asia and the World, 2 credits

Examinor: Jukka Jouhki from the Department of History and Ethnology, University of Jyväskylä.

Content: Lectures deal with conception of India, its ancient intellectual relationships with the rest of the world, its cultural colonies in other Asian countries, common Asian responses to European colonialism, and the intellectual emergence of Asian cooperation.

Target Group: The students of the Network member universities are eligible to apply. The course is recommended for advanced level (MA) students.
